New Music Review

The new Neko Case album is pretty good, although I can't say I think it's great. There are 2 songs (Star Witness and Hold On, Hold On) that I love and have been playing over and over and over again. The rest of the album will grow on me, I'm sure. I heard an interview with Neko where she says that her muses for this album were Eastern European fairy tales. I really admire people who gain inspiration from unusual places. Neko seems to have a knack for that.
