Flowers in Winter

There's nothing like a vase full of fresh flowers in winter to propel me towards spring. I like to get mine at Trader Joe's because they sell reasonably priced huge bouquets. But these days, a vase of flowers could sit and wilt on my table for days before I get the around to tossing them. So the other day when we were at Pike Place I bought some dried flowers that I am loving. They're called Globe Thistle and they're spiney and intersting.



And they last forever.
