It's Spring

and the mister and I are spending as much time as possible in our backyard. Today we built what we are calling our herb staging area. We got the plans from this book: Herbs: Simple Projects for the Weekend Gardener . While it's a nice book with lovely photos and good ideas - the plans for this project were no freaking help. We ended up closing the book and using our own little pea brains to reason it out. The piece has 3 semi circular shelves that get bigger as they get closer to the ground. We plan on setting it against our south facing brick wall that is a little bit bare and ugly at the moment. We'll put sun loving herbs in terra cotta pots on it. The result will be spectacular and I will post the photo here once I get it primed and painted.
